Peony Pavilion depicts the story of Du Liniang falls in love with Liu Mengmei, a scholar in her dream, but after she woke up, she found that everything was just a dream. So she became ill because she missed Mengmei. Then she died for sickness, turned into a soul to find him in reality, and Mengmei helps her come back to life, and finally, they are together forever. The play has elegant rhetoric and beautiful language.
